I am an engineering student at Santa Rosa Junior College pursuing computer engineering, and I build practical tools and systems for engineering work. My projects range from hands-on design and team operations to Windows software and automation.
Projects
Baja SAE Engineering Integration Specialist
SRJC Baja SAE | June 2026 to present
My work: Electrical integration and testing, KiCad schematics, Data-logger bench testing, Canvas training workspace, Team website
Status: Schematics in progress, first bench checks done, not yet tested on the car; first competition April 2027
I work on electrical integration and testing for SRJC's first Baja SAE car. I drew parts of the electrical schematics in KiCad and ran the first bench checks on the team's RaceCapture data logger. I also built and maintain the team's Canvas training workspace and its website, srjcsaeclub.org.
Status: Open source; maintained with occasional fixes
Method: AI-assisted development
Designed and maintain a suite of separately packaged PowerToys Command Palette extensions for Windows controls, system analytics, screenshot organization and search, clipboard and notes workflows, developer tools, and local Windows AI features. I define product behavior and architecture, review and debug the implementation, and maintain the open-source project.
My work: Tail design, Bill of materials, Wing and thrust research, Component selection
Status: Archived after early design and partial build work
Worked with a small team on a fixed-wing UAV concept for thermal wildfire and hotspot detection. I contributed tail design, airframe and wing/thrust research, component selection, and the bill of materials. The team completed a 3D-printed fuselage and landing gear before the project stalled and was archived in May 2026.
Landing gear concept render from the early Project Pigeon design. The wheels attach to the two lower mounts.
Other Work
AHK Scripting Personal desktop automation
Personal project | Jan 2026 to present | Maintained daily-use toolkit
AutoHotkey v2 | Windows
Designed and maintain a daily-use AutoHotkey v2 toolkit built around a dedicated Caps Lock shortcut layer. It handles window tiling and spatial focus, virtual desktops and monitor navigation, app launching, media and system controls, autocorrect, and performance telemetry.
Dog Protection Device Foxtail grass seed canine face guard
PLTW Engineering Design | 2024 | Completed
Agile methodology | Research | Iterative prototyping
Completed a semester-long PLTW design project using Agile methods to research and iteratively prototype a breathable face guard intended to reduce foxtail grass-seed exposure in dogs. Tested airflow and incorporated veterinarian feedback into later prototypes.
Experience
STEM Success Center Lab Assistant
Santa Rosa Junior College | Oct 2025 to present
Provide drop-in tutoring in calculus and other mathematics, physics, chemistry, and occasional statistics. Help students install programs and troubleshoot graphing calculators, and handle routine lab cleanup and technology maintenance.
Engineering transfer track | Intended major: Computer Engineering | GPA 4.00 | Dean's Highest Honors, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 | Web and Mobile Front-End Development certificate | Expected transfer: Fall 2027
Fall 2026 coursework: Differential Equations, Electricity & Magnetism with lab, Statics, MATLAB for Engineers with data-acquisition labs
Selected completed coursework: Calculus I-III, Classical Mechanics, C++ Programming, General Chemistry, Web Development
Technology High School
Class rank: 6 of 78 | STEM project-based curriculum
Recognition
Thomas A. Jerrell Memorial Engineering/Physics Scholarship
Windows automation and workflow design (CmdPal, AHK toolkit) | Website development and deployment (SRJC Baja SAE) | Git and GitHub fundamentals | Bash / Linux command line | Basic Python and C++
Python fluency for engineering work | MATLAB through current coursework
Software development approach: For software projects, I use coding agents (Claude Code and Codex, run with my own rules files, plugins, and MCP servers) for most implementation. I define the behavior and constraints, make architecture and product decisions, research technical details, then review, test, debug, and maintain the result.
